KOINE'
/ PRIMITIVO DI MANDURIA



TASTING NOTES:
Intense purple colour, tending towards amber with ageing. This wine has a very solid structure due to the elevated alcohol and the balance between the soft tannins and acidity.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Great wine for roasted and grilled meats. Ideal with game dishes. Excellent with mature hard cheeses.

AGEING ABILITY:
When correctly cellared, this wine will continue to age for 5-6 years after bottling.




PRODUCTION AREA: Taranto and Brindisi regions included Erchie, Oria and Torre S. Susanna towns.

GRAPE:
100% Primitivo

HARVEST: First 10 days of September

PRODUCTION:
Vinification is carried out using the traditional “submerged cap” system, carefully controlled in order to extract delicate tannins and varietal fruit characteristics. During the maturation phase in stainless steel wine vats and bottle, these evolve to reach their highest possible levels. Maceration lasts for 12-15 days at controlled temperatures not exceeding 28°C.

ALCOHOL: 14.5%

/ VERDECA IGT

TASTING NOTES:
A fresh, crisp wine with delicate, captivated varietal aromas. It is dry and smooth on the palate. An everyday drinking wine due to the balance between its structure and its crisp acidity.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Excellent with fish dishes and fresh cheeses.

AGEING ABILITY:
When correctly cellared this wine will continue to age nicely for 2-3 years after bottling.





PRODUCTION AREA :
Apulia area.

GRAPE:
100 % Verdeca

HARVEST: Last ten days of September into the first 10 days of October

PRODUCTION:
After harvest the grapes are immediately pressed and juice chilled. An enzymatic clarification takes place followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures (18°C max) with selected yeasts for 15-20 days. Refining and bottling occurr within 4 months in order to maximize fruit character.

ALCOHOL: 12%
