AZ. AGRICOLA CARLO HAUNER
MALVASIA DELLE LIPARI

TASTING NOTES:
Intense impact with a splendid golden emerald color. Clear and bright with an excellent consistency. The bouquet is rich, fragrant and wide-reaching: ranging from fresh, ripe fruit like apricots and figs with highlights of lavender and thyme finishing with an underlying note of almond which create a refined overall taste. Sweet and intense flavor but also zesty and fresh. Well-balanced, aromatic, warm and engaging: lingers.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Well-suited with rich soft desserts as well as sharp cheeses with notes of herbs.

TASTING NOTES:
Beautiful amber color with lively and brilliant solar highlights. Excellent consistency noted for their narrow and substantial quality. Excellent bouquet bold and well-articulated. Replete with great finesse and perfumes of fruits: dried figs, dates, ripe apricots, honey and savory spices. The mouth feel is noted for its smoothness and the well-balanced sweet fruit which is sustained by its individuality. Warm character and excellent texture. Stable and well integrated.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Well coupled with almond-paste based desserts, Sicilian cassata, pastries and pungent pecorino cheese served with orange-blossom honey.

VINIFICATION:
After drying grapes on mats for 15/20 days, the juice goes into a temperature-controlled maceration on the skins. Maturation 18 months in thermal controlled stainless still tanks. Refinement 6 months in bottle.

 
   

AZ. AGRICOLA CARLO HAUNER SALINA BIANCO


COLOUR:
Intense straw-yellow color, with brilliant and transparent hints of gold.

TASTING NOTES:
Full bodied consistency. A characteristically Mediterranean bouquet blended with aromatic citrus and exotic fruits creating a very refined flavor. Fresh and intense taste with an immediate and full-flavored lingering on the palate.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Great accompaniment to seafood appetizers, pasta with vegetables, seafood risotto, seafood dishes and cheese.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
To be enjoyed at 50°F .

AZ. AGRICOLA CARLO HAUNER SALINA ROSSO

TASTING NOTES:
The color is of ruby red with notes of violet. Good consistent firmness on the palate showing off the fine structure of this wine. Generous and distinct fruit fragrance of blackberries with light accents of vanilla and licorice, subtle hints of charred oak and carob.

Dry to the taste, well balanced with presence of tannins, intense and lingering, leaving a smooth softness in the mouth.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
A fine choice for rich, well-seasoned and tasty foods, meat dishes with gravy, aged cheeses and first courses sauces.

Middle of September under a controlled maturation of the grapes

VINIFICATION AND FINISHING :
Maceration on the skins. Aging 3-6 months in barriques. Refinement 3 months in bottle.

 
   

AZ. AGRICOLA CARLO HAUNER ROSSO ANTONELLO

TASTING NOTES:
A beautiful deep, luminous ruby red color with light grenade glares. The bouquet of wide-reaching character is full of sensations that range from small ripe red fruits like blackberries and blueberries to underlying notes of vanilla and cardamon which blend together with minerals like graphite. Aromatic and generous in flavor; soft and smooth to the taste leaving room for the delicate and well-bodied tannins. Warm and sunny character lends itself to drinking with long harmonious lingering floavor on the palate.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Well matched with roasted and well-seasoned meats, tangy aged cheeses, but also does honor to a dish of sliced fresh tuna with capers and olives.

Calabrese (also known as Nero D'Avola), Sangiovese and Corinto Nero

VINEYARD MANAGEMENT:

HARVEST:
Middle of September under a controlled maturation of the grapes

VINIFICATION :
Long maceration on the skins. Maturation in barriques for at least one year. Refinement 9 months in bottle.

 
   

AZ. AGRICOLA CARLO HAUNER CARLO HAUNER

TASTING NOTES:
Brilliant golden yellow color with excellent consistency. The bouquet suggests its island origins, refined impact with clear vegetable and salty notes. Fruity character of ripe yellow fruits and citrus flowers-also hints of vanilla and butter. Flavor marked by a tangy freshness but well-balanced with by the softness of alcohol. Harmonious and lingers well.

CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Seafood dishes like spaghetti with sea urchins, pasta with sardines, swordfish rolls, but does honor just the same to white meats such as veal scaloppine and semi-soft cheese.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Best to drink at 54-56°F.

HARVEST:
Beginning and middle of September.

VINIFICATION :
