COLOUR:
Garnet red with orangish reflections as it ages.
TASTING NOTES:
Generous and persistent, recalling violets, wild berries and cooked fruit. Dry, lightly tannic when young, softens with age.
CULINARY SUGGESTIONS:
Ideal with cheeses and main courses of prime meat cuts; also enjoyable simply in moments of relaxation.
SERVING TEMPERATURE:

Rionero in Vulture - Basilicata
Vine Variety Aglianico.
PERIOD OF MATTURATION: First 10 days of October
VINIFICATION AND FINISHING: Cluster selection and thinning. Traditional red vinification with temperature control. Long maceration of 15-20 days in stainless steel vinification vats. Malolactic fermentation followed by finishing in oak casks.
ALCOHOL: 13%
